Biriyani baigan chutney
Biriyani is the combination with baiganchutney which gives more taste when compare to other recipe because many brinjal chutney i have searched in many websites and blogs one which I could not find neigther tasty or perfect in traditional recipe. Main ingredients which should be powdered is groundnuts with sesame gives taste to the receipe.
Ingredients:
Brinjal -1/2kg
Onion - 2nos
Mustard seed - 1 sp
Jeera -1/2 sp
Curry leaves - 10nos
Tamarind - lemon size
Tomatoes -2nos
Garlic - 10 cloves
Groundnuts -one cup
Sesame - 1/4cup
Chilli powder - 1 spoon
Turmeric powder -1/4 sp
Salt to taste
Pepper - 20 nos
Oil - 100ml
Method
First roast the groundnuts and sesame and grind it and keep aside.
Take a large mouthed pan or kadai put oil add mustard seeds, pepper, meera, curry leaves and garlic cloves into it. Add brinjal which slits in middle and fry it till it becomes soft. Now add onions and tomatoes and fry add all the above powder and fry and add some water in to it. Atleast add tamarind water into it and stir well. Close the pan boil for 5 minutes . Now you can feel the taste of aroma of mouthwatering brinjal chutney with combination of Mutton biriyani and onion raita some sweet like breadalwa creates a big dawat in festival season.
